3-D Seasonal Shadow Box -- WCC30

I've been wanting to create shadow boxes to commemorate the seasons for awhile now. Ever since I bought the Sheltering Tree set, I knew this was the set I would use. Susan's 3-D challenge with the Watercooler Artists inspired me to finally give it a try. I am pleased to say that I am happy with how it turned out. I plan to do one for each season so that someone dear to me can stay aware of the month and season with merely a glance.

Now I know "technically" the seasons are overlapped. However, I will be placing September solely as a month for Autumn, just as I placed June for summer only. Usually here in Calgary, once September hits, it feels like Fall.

stamps: sheltering tree, project life day to day, tin of cards * NEW *

ink: cucumber crush, mint macaron, marina mist, crushed curry, soft suede, tangelo twist

paper: whisper white, early espresso, marina mist, irresistibly yours DSP (retired), crushed curry

other: butteflies thinlits, labels collection framelits (retired).

I've listed below a current framelit set and specialty paper you can use in place of my two retired choices.

Not shown here, but I also added a tiny bird in marina mist punched out from the Tree Builder punch, added a glue dot, and placed it on the glass of the shadow box under the current month.
