It's an interesting challenge since I didn't have any watercolor paper and have shied away from watercoloring. But sometimes you just have to go for it. Usually for watercoloring you need to use stazon black ink for your solid image. However, I thought the black looked too stark. I decided to watercolor the background first, let the paper dry, then stamp the image in the water-based early espresso.
stamps: world of dreams, teeny tiny wishes (sentiment)
paper: cajun craze, whisper white, watercolor paper, island indigo
ink: garden green, crushed curry island indigo, cajun craze, early espresso
other: aquapainter, spring flowers e.f., large oval, extra large scallop oval
Bev I'm thoroughly enchanted with your combination of the watercolour and silhouette image. Simply beautiful. I really like the Spring Flowers embossing folder in the background too with the gentle brush of crushed curry against it. Thanks for sharing.
