Watercooler Challenge WCC08

What a beautiful warm day we are having here. The sun is shining brightly and there is only the slightest of breezes. Some leaves are waving celebrating the joy of summer.

My watercooler friends were discussing the fun of punch art. I really enjoy this artform. It allows you to create images which otherwise you might not have in a library of stamps. It takes a bit of ingenuity to create the picture you would like to have. Some artists are so amazing with this medium they create (for example) Disney characters or entire scenes.

In my quest for inspiration I happened upon a sunflower card. Click here:
Brandy's sunflower

This wonderful card helped me come up with my own flower:

stamps: work of art, sassy salutations
Ink: tangerine tango, crushed curry, soft suede, wild wasabi
Paper: daffodil delight, wild wasabi, chocolate chip
Punches: large oval, 3/4" circle

What have you made with punches?

Check out other punch art at the watercooler challenge blog.

  2. Hi Bev, love the sunflower. The colours are so happy and bright. Using the Work of Art set for the stem was a great idea. TFS
