Windy City

Weather here has been all about Spring since some time in February. We have brown grass with hints of green, no snow to speak of ... but heaps and heaps of wind -- especially today! It is easy to forget how blustery it can be here. Wind gusts today were expected to reach close to 110 km/hr. I'd say it certainly feels that way.

It is one of those March days
when the sun shines hot and the wind blows cold:
When it is summer in the light,
and winter in the shade.

Charles Dickens

The weather inspired me to create a card showing the wind and the feeling of spring we are enjoying.

stamps: sheltering tree
paper: marina mist, whisper white
ink: marina mist, pink pirouette, soft sky, daffodil delight, strawberry slush, old olive, early espresso

May you enjoy the weather, wherever you are!
