First Creative Corner workshop finished!

Sending out a big THANK YOU to all my friends who joined me as I ran my very first open house!  As promised I'll begin posting the four cards we worked on complete with instructions.  Card #1:

Recipe for
Anniversary card
Stamps
I Heart Hearts, Warmest Regards (sentiment)
Card stock
melon mambo, whisper white, basic gray
Ink
melon mambo, daffodil delight, basic gray, regal rose
Accessories
none
Tools
extra-large oval punch, 2-3/8" scallop punch, scissors, sponge, repositioning adhesive, dimensionals

The trick with this card is to leave out the basic gray card stock when you are stamping the hearts.  Use repositioning adhesive to keep the whisper white c.s. from slipping.  AFTER you are finished stamping the hearts, peel apart the two white pieces, THEN affix the basic gray to the back of the smaller whisper white and align them onto the card.  In this way, you will notice that any spaces created when you were stamping the hearts, will be covered up with the gray.  The hearts look solidly stamped.

Trick #2:  Punch out the scallop then cut it in half.  Snip off the last partial scallops on each piece, then attach them together to fit behind the sentiment.

And that's it!  Stay tuned for the next card.
