The technique of showing movement I have stamped before with a train and a car. It is fun to do. Some cards I have viewed recently on the internet reminded me to use it again with this stamp. Thank you to those creative people for the reminder. The trick is to use gradations of light to dark colour. I used smoky slate and basic black. The first two times I stamped the plane I stamped off the smoky slate before applying it to the whisper white cardstock.
For the background I started with a stamp from the For All Things stamp set which is retiring at the end of May. Also a stamp from Sheltering Tree was used for the grass and a little bit of sky.
stamps: sky is the limit (SAB 2016 - unavailable), sheltering tree, for all things (retiring)
ink: garden green, smoky slate, basic black, soft sky
paper: garden green, smoky slate, basic black, whisper white
other: decorative label punch, 5/8" white organza ribbon
Prices are going up in the new catalogue which goes live on June 1st. If you are in need of current paper, ink or stamps, this would be a good time to get them. Additionally there are several items which are retiring. Check them out in the Store. Use this host code REHCMGN6 when ordering before May 31st to receive a small gift from me! But if your order is over $200, then don't use the code as you will be able to choose something for free from Stampin' Up!
This is what the retiring set For All Things looks like.

Bev, what a cool card. The background is lovely and the images stamped for the plane are a great idea!
