Just for Today

Hi Everyone!

I'm experimenting with different watercoloring techniques. This one is meant to look a little rough to reflect how we see ourselves. However ...

If you could see yourself as I do ...
you would see your soul is like --
strong stems grounded into the earth;
soft velvety petals reaching to the sun;
and vibrant colours glistening for all the world to see.
Just for today ... do!

-- a Bevism, just for you --

stamps: Awesomely Artistic
ink: wild wasabi, crushed curry, soft suede, melon mambo, raspberry ripple (r), regal rose (r)
paper: whisper white, wild wasabi, crushed curry
crushed curry ribbon, blender pens, aqua painters

I am entering this card in the Watercooler Wednesday Challenge. The theme is Anything Goes.

If you have any questions about how I created this effect, please let me know by adding a comment.

That's all folks!

And ... may you ...

  1. Hi Bev, it's good to see your beautiful creation linked up. Love the way you've used blender pens and your aquapainter to achieve such lovely colouring. The background, too, is unique and makes a perfect frame for the floral image. Thanks so much for joining us this week for the Watercooler Wednesday Challenge.
