Gotta say I was a wee bit nervous putting together my first blendabilities class. I knew introducing a new product can be fraught with confusion, frustration and downright intimidation for the teacher and the students. I also knew that likely there were a few that had experience with alcohol markers and would likely know more than I about what to do and what not to do.
Luckily, the class went off without a hitch! My stamping friends played with the product with an open mind and open heart.
They learned, I learned and we had a really good time.
Here is what we made:
Stamps: flower shop, kinda eclectic, banner banter
Paper: blackberry bliss, moonlight dsp pack, w.white
Ink: mossy meadow, daffodil delight, blackberry bliss,
hello honey; blendabilities: daffodil delight
Punches: banner and pansy
Envelope from brights dsp pack (env. punch board)
Stamps/punch: perfect blend, scalloped tag topper
Paper: whisper white, moonlight dsp pack
Ink: b.b.brown sugar; blendabilities: o.olive, r.razzleberry
Also: 4x6 cellophane bags, 5/8" w.organza ribbon,
chocolate and vanilla-covered coffee beans
Stamps: papillon potpourri, flowering florishes,
kinda eclectic (sentiment)
Paper: pumpkin pie, old olive dsp pack,
basic black, whisper white
Ink: old olive, memento, tangelo twist
Blendabilitied: pumpkin pie, cherry cobbler
Also: pearls and rhinestones
No blendabilities were harmed during the make 'n takes for this class!
